Monthly Focus Initiative Launched at Clubb Sand & Gravel

Clubb Sand and Gravel has introduced a new monthly wellbeing and engagement initiative, designed to encourage participation, strengthen team connections and promote a positive working environment across the business.

Every month a different theme is chosen with a range of communications delivered, each designed to engage and inform the workforce. This is supported by a simple and inclusive activity aimed at engaging employees in a meaningful yet accessible way.

This months focus is ‘Inclusion in Action. This aligns with Pride Month while taking a broader look at inclusion across the workplace. The aim is to encourage awareness, understanding and everyday behaviours that support an inclusive culture for all.

The initiative builds on a series of successful activities already introduced in recent months. In May, the focus was on mental health and wellbeing, with the ‘Mind Matters Bingo’ challenge encouraging employees to complete small, positive wellbeing tasks throughout the month.

In April, the theme ‘Calm and Grow’ invited employees to share photos of their home garden projects, creating an opportunity to showcase personal achievements outside of work and promote relaxation and wellbeing. Meanwhile, March saw a company-wide step challenge, encouraging friendly competition and physical activity across the workforce.

The introduction of a monthly focus reflects a continued commitment to support employee wellbeing and foster engagement across all areas of the business. By offering a variety of themes and activities, the initiative aims to appeal to a wide range of interests while reinforcing a strong sense of community.

Through these ongoing efforts, Clubb Sand and Gravel continues to highlight the importance of teamwork, inclusion and wellbeing, recognising that a positive and engaged workforce plays a vital role in overall success.
